If you are unavailable to attend an in-person vocal audition, you may record a video of you singing the below requirements. Video auditions are due Monday, August 3 at 5 p.m. Please share video links as an "unlisted" video on youtube to stephenh@azbroadway.org

What to Prepare:  

For the initial vocal audition, you will need to prepare (2)contrasting cuts (about 1-minute each) in pop, rock, r&b, or musical theatre styles.  Please bring clearly marked sheet music in the desired key. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring your music whole punched and in a 3-ring binder. If you have questions about how to mark your music, what key is best, or anything else regarding sheet music please reach out to our music director Mark 4Man at mark4manmusic@gmail.com

Callbacks: 

Once you have completed your vocal audition you may be asked to return the following Monday (10) for an in-person dance audition.  We will notify you about these callbacks in the room and by email.  This email will also include a dance audition video for you to learn prior to the callback.

FAQ: 

HyRev rehearses on Monday evenings from August 17-December14, 2025

Rev’d Up rehearses 4:30-6p, Hytonez rehearses 6-8p, SoRev rehearses 7-9p (times may vary slightly from week to week).  Members are allowed 3 absences per semester.

HyRev performs throughout the valley throughout the semester- performance opportunities are based on members’ availability.

Tuition is $500 for the semester in full for HyperTonez and SoRev

Tuition is $450 for the semester in full for Rev’d Up

Monthly payment plans are available.

ABT's HyRev Troupes provides young performers ages 10-19with previous music theatre, dance, or show choir experience the opportunity to elevate their performance skills. The program includes three performance troupes: Rev’d Up (Intermediate troupe), Hyper Tone Z (advanced troupe), and Sonic Revolution (elite troupe).

ABT's HyRev Troupe DEVELOPS and ELEVATES performers to become true triple threats through intensive training and professional performance opportunities. Our qualified staff is excited to TEACH, MENTOR, and GUIDE these performers during their artistic journey. We pride ourselves on NURTURING the creative talents and professional aspirations of all HyRev members!

Members participate in Valley-wide performances at venues including the State Fair of Arizona and out-of-state performances in Los Angeles. Members also have opportunities to work alongside professional actors in ABT's mainstage productions and participate in master classes with industry professionals.

ABT's HyRev Troupes help students build confidence, develop artistic discipline, and prepare for potential careers in theatre. HyRev Troupe placement is by audition.
