Academy for Young Performers‍

Arizona Broadway Theatre's Academy for Young Performers is a summer day camp program that allows children to explore their creativity and expand their imagination through hands-on theatre training. Targeted for youth with and without theatre experience, classes are focused on acting, music, and movement instruction as well as behind-the-scenes creation of costumes, props, and sets, giving children of all ages the opportunity to explore every facet of theatre.

Serving more than 300 students each summer, the Academy provides high-quality instruction from professional teaching artists and creates meaningful arts access for youth across the West Valley. To ensure every child has the opportunity to participate, ABT offers scholarships for students from low-income households and Title I schools—yet demand continues to grow.
