Job Overview

Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT), the Valley’s premier dinner theatre, is seeking a motivated and sales-driven Guest Services Associate to join our team.

ABT produces seven Broadway-style productions each year, along with tribute concerts, limited engagements, and special events. This position plays a vital role in driving ticket revenue while delivering an exceptional guest experience from first contact through curtain call.

This is not simply a transactional role — we are seeking a confident sales professional who is comfortable making cold calls, handling incoming sales inquiries, and closing sales in person.

Location: Arizona Broadway Theatre – Peoria, AZ

Schedule:

  • Primarily evening and weekend evening shifts
  • Occasional daytime shifts when available

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively sell tickets, packages, subscriptions, and add-ons through:
    • Cold calls to prospective and past patrons
    • Incoming phone inquiries
    • In-person sales at the box office
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons both in-person and over the phone
  • Confidently recommend seating options, upgrades, dining packages, and promotions
  • Navigate ABT’s Windows-based ticketing platform efficiently and accurately
  • Process cash and credit card transactions securely
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Assist with group sales inquiries and outbound sales initiatives
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a polished, welcoming, and professional presence at all times
  • Assist with administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Sales experience is required (retail, box office, call center, or hospitality sales preferred)
  • Comfortable making outbound cold calls and closing sales
  • Strong phone presence and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to confidently upsell and recommend enhancements
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems and ability to learn ticketing software quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional day shifts
